This website is all about photographs that require something more than just a smartphone with 'app' filters.

To create a 'photograph' rather than a 'snap' mostly requires an extra element not used in the millions of images posted on-line every day.

This extra element might be an elephant, a trigger, a pinhole, a purpose built lens, f256, a UV filter, location good fortune, a studio cove, image manipulation, moving a few feet away, or just controlled lighting - all just to make a photograph.

Some of these photographs took planning or relied on experience, whatever the difference to the plethora of smartphone snaps I suggest that they are interesting.

Elements used herein include 8-600mm lens on 35mm body, BronColor lighting and some Photoshop.
